#21 – I finished putting the old bits of jewelry on this quilt I started in 1996. Been using it without embellishments since 2000.

This was one of the first quilts I ever started. My friend, Peggy and I altered the pattern to make it bigger and then stopped working on it. Years later I pulled it out and decided to put old pieces of jewelry in the pockets instead of the buttons the pattern called for.

#20 – LadyBug #2 – I started this in 2007 at Road to California in a Laura Nownes class. Made enough ladybug blocks to make two quilts. These are the leftover blocks. I didnt follow the pattern but made this quilt freestyle. I put ladybug buttons all over this one.

Quilt #19 in 2010. Another UFO. I started this Hawaiian quilt at my first Ventura Quilt retreat years ago. Finally finished it in 2010.

Quilt #18. This years HOS quilt. We got the handprints of grades K-6 this year. I got the “Punctuation” Kit by Moda from Keepsake Quilting and worked all the handprints in. Mary Landon quilted it (quickly!) for us. Peggy provided the backing.

Heres quilt #17. Its my second Gerber Daisy Quilt. I pieced it at Ventura in March and Mary Landon quilted it for me.

Technically this quilt (#16) should be a secret until the Mens Emmaus Walk but I doubt any pilgrims will be checking out this website. I made it for Cliff. He is the Lay Director for Walk #50. I designed it myself with inspiration from a graphic I found

Quilt #15 in 2010. This is a UFO! Peg and I started these at a Hot Ribbon Applique class at Road to California (2008 probably?) I quilted it myself and my machine even behaved itself! Still need to add the crystals for some sparkle. Pegs got the tool to do that!

Quilt #14 in 2010 is this Shade Cascade (another UFO). I bought the kit at Quilt Ventura and sewed it together at the Encinco retreat in the fall of 2009. Finished it in 2010. Mary Landon quilted if for me.

Quilt #13 – Rectangle Pizazz. Peg gave me this kit as a gift. I sewed it at the Encino Retreat in fall 2009. Finished it in 2010.

Quilt #12. Technically this is not a UFO. I bought the kit in Paradise, CA in 2009. Sewed it in 2010. Its Hip to Be Square!

Quilt #11 – Heres the Fishing Quilt Ive been meaning to get done for Avery, my nephew. Finished in time for his birthday on June 11.

Heres Number 10 for 2010! My Garden Club quilt. I sewed it together at Ventura Quilt Retreat in spring 2009. Sandy McCain quilted each flower individually with different color threads. Sensational.

#9 – Salsa Stars. Very bright.

Quilt #8 in 2010. My BQ Quilt.

#7 – I pieced this top at the Ventura Retreat in March 2010. Finished it up to give to Edris Reed for her 70th birthday.

#6 Cliff gave me these fabrics in my stocking Christmas 2008. I always wanted to make a Buzz Saw quilt. It was tricky laying out the colors and sewing it but worth it. Very manly. Mary Landon quilted it for me.

#5 for 2010. Ive been working on this for YEARS. Handquilting and redwork. I wanted to do a scalloped edge. Dont think I quilted the edge enough as I got cupping and some loose fabric. I made it as a Valentines Day quilt.

Heres my fourth quilt for 2010. I pieced this in 2008 at Temecula. Got the yummy fabrics at the Long Beach show. Sandy McCain quilted it with circles. I LOVE it!

My third quilt of 2010. A Turning 20 Again made for Jody Northcutt.

Heres my second finished quilt for 2010 – finished while watching the Super Bowl. I bought these fabrics and sewed this quilt in 2009.

Heres my Josephs Technicolor Dream Quilt – fabric purchased in 2006, pieced in 2007, quilted in 2009, finished in 2010
